Ali Farquhar holds an MBA from INSEAD, France, and a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching from the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology. She is a Certified Immunity to Change Coach and is qualified to administer a range of leadership, personality, and emotional intelligence assessment tools.

Prior to becoming an Executive Coach, Ali worked in financial services, business research, strategic and organizational change consulting, and executive education. Her academic research at INSEAD focused on success factors in mergers and acquisitions, and on international human resource management, leading to a number of publications. Ali’s consulting and coaching assignments have ranged from Fortune 50 corporations to small not-for-profits and include the healthcare, consumer goods, automotive, aerospace, financial services, and high technology sectors, as well as the performing arts.

Her experience working in several different countries and her expertise in cross-cultural dynamics make Ali particularly suited as a coach for international executives, multinational teams, expatriates, and those returning home from postings overseas.

While primarily an individual consultancy, GTL contracts with other coaches and consultants who are experts in their field when the size or scope of a project requires additional resources. GTL works with professionals who share the same standards of quality, ethics, and dedication to client results.

Ali offers pro bono services as a coach for the Coaching for Leadership and Teamwork Program (CLTP) at Babson College. Outside work, she is a committed volunteer serving on a variety of not-for-profit boards and community committees. She is a sought after presenter on executive function challenges in children, and runs support groups for parents of children with ADHD, anxiety disorders, learning disabilities, and behavioral challenges. She currently lives near Boston, Massachusetts.
